I’m originally from New Jersey but now I call Colorado home! Although I am in love with the dry heat, access to the mountains, and local flower farms in Colorado, I do miss the seasonal colors of the north east. I am always surprised when I go back to visit just how lush and green the springs can be and how vividly autumnal the leaves look when they change in the fall. I am constantly inspired by the nature around me, which is what influenced the name of my company, Foraged Fern. Although most ferns are not native to Colorado, neither am I. Ferns remind me of “home”. They remind me of my childhood spent exploring in the woods of New Jersey.
